This was in the comments section – but I wanted to copy and paste this so it appeared on the blog itself.

From Fr. Dundas…
Thank you for posting this. I do want to make one correction which I have changed on my own page. I changed this “Since the move to the Episcopal Church will take at least another year their Bishop for the Federal Chaplaincy provided me with the contact information for the Apostolic Catholic Orthodox Church” to this:
Another endorsing agent helped me find the the Apostolic Catholic Orthodox Church (http://www.apostoliccatholic.org/default1.htm) an Old Catholic Communion whose ethos is very similar to mine. I have had meaningful talks with the Presiding Bishop, Diana Dale and a number of priests who have served or are serving as military chaplains. I really look forward to serving in the ACOC for many years to come.
As a military Chaplain it is important for me to ensure that people do not think that I am church hopping or using a denomination simply as a bridge to another. I will continue my relationship with St James Episcopal Church but will remain in the ACOC for the long term. I have no need to leave a denomination that has been very kind to me and with whom I am already developing good relationships and that I feel a strong kinship with. Thank you for understanding and also for posting this. Many blessings,
Padre Steve+

Well, once again, CECHealing posts the side that makes the CEC look like crap and them the all knowing suffering saints. What crap. I personally spoke to Fr. Dundas and he assured me it was not the CEC which caused his “crisis of faith” but the PTSD which surfaced after his tour in Iraq.
The one exception to the is “admin’s” post but he is immediately “debunked” because that’s why this blog exists. To attack the CEC and any person who is “foolish” enough to continue in the “cult.”
Fr. Dundas also told me he had sent at least two more messages attempting to clear up the apparent miscommunication, but they were not posted.
This blog is as bad, if not worse, than the liberal media which attacks anything but their narrow view.
There are about three deeply wounded and flawed individuals who regularly read this blog and willfully pounce on any morsel which makes the CEC look bad. For God’s sake folks, get a life!

I wanted to ignore this and have for about a week, as I said before I don’t come to this site on a regular basis. I believe that the person that wrote the comment above “therestofthestorynow” is Bishop Woodall. He is the only person that I spoke to about this in such detail. To be sure the PTSD was a big part and I tried to be gentle with him as I left the CEC. However the real lack of pastoral care by him and former CEC bishops contributed to my crisis and collapse because because my faith community had for all intents and purposes for years abandoned me. Abandonment is one of the key factors that make PTSD worse and when it is the faith community that does this it can create exactly what happened to me.
An interesting note. Abp Woodall was deposed on 26 January for attempting to remove the CEC Military Chaplains from the CEC to join the ACNA Missionary Diocese of All Saints where he plans to be the endorsing agent. He was attempting to do this secretly but one of the senior CEC military chaplains reported it to Abp Bates. Woodall has tried to spin the situation to make it look like he resigned in an e-mail that I was copied in.
When other CEC Bishops with some of their churches Woodall criticized them, now the shoe is on the other foot.
Simply put when I left I was clear on why I did and I did not attempt to take anyone else with me. I attempted to remain friends with Abp Woodall but he has shown that he has no honor.
